I got into editing because I kept watching genuinely compelling long-form content underperform — not because the ideas were weak, but because the edit wasn't doing the content justice. Viewers who should have stayed, left. Channels that deserved to grow, didn't.

That's the problem I focus on. Pacing that respects the viewer's time, structure that carries them through 10 or 20 minutes without them noticing, visuals that make your channel feel like something worth trusting.
